How do I renew my membership? - Visit here and fill out the Membership Application.  Be sure to pay your dues with link in the application.

How do I become a new member? - Once you are invited by a current member, fill out the Membership Application.  You will receive an email after your application has been approved with a link to pay yearly dues.

What if I haven't been invited by a member to join?  You are welcome to attend one event as a guest to gain a membership invitation.

I am a member and not getting emails, what should I do? Check your spam box, add info@designcollectiveatl.com to your address book, and make sure you completed step #2.

I've paid my membership dues, but haven't received a confirmation. You won't receive a confirmation when you pay, but you will receive an email notification if we don't receive payment with your application.

Can I pay my membership dues with a check?  We only accept payment via Paypal.

I completed the membership form am I a member? Your membership is not complete until you pay your dues.  Renewing members pay their dues when they fill out the Membership Application and new members will receive an email telling them how to do so.

What are membership levels?  Membership levels are awarded based on the previous year's attendance.  Design Collective wants to reward and acknowledge our biggest supporters.  To track this we ask you to sign in at every event you attend.  This is the only way we track attendance.  Visionaries attended 9+ events, Influencers attended 4+ events.

What about Company memberships?  Design Collective is a organization made up of individuals in the community and therefore we only offer individual memberships.  We only want people to join who are truly interested in our purpose.

How can I host an event?  Hosts are required to attend three events before hosting, if you have fulfilled this requirement you may fill out an application here and one of our events board members will contact you.

When is the next event?  Events are always the third Wednesday of the month and you can find information on events on our homepage.

How much are dues?  Membership dues are $35 for 2013.  Dues are paid per calendar year.

Please keep in mind that DC is a volunteer non-profit professional organization.  Please read our newsletters, please read and follow any instructions carefully and completely.  We want to spend our time bringing you awesome events and information.  We want to keep our dues low for the good of the organization.  We ask our members to keep themselves up-to-date and informed.  That said, if we have to perform additional administrative duties due to your absentmindedness, inattention, forgetfulness, carelessness or general disregard for following instructions you may be assessed an administrative processing fee.
